PLAYABILITY
The Deering B6 has a slender, low profile neck that is shaped for fast
accurate fingering. The neck is 1 3/4" wide at the nut so it is suitable
for all styles of guitar techniques. The ebony fingerboard is polished to
a fast smooth surface. By guitar standards, the neck is very comfortable
and natural feeling.
- Deering's fret work is accurate and precise to ensure accurate
intonation over the entire fingerboard.
- The Deering compensated maple and ebony bridge further ensures
precise intonation over the entire range of notes.
- The sealed guitar tuners are smooth, positive and accurate in
operation.
- The two way adjustable truss rod is precise and easy to use and
ensures superb playability without buzzing.
TONE
The B6 steel rim is 3/16 of an inch thick. It's mass and hardness gives
the banjo a clear, crisp tone. It also makes this banjo powerfully
dynamic. The B6 steel rim rings like a bell.
The massive strength of the steel rim allows the head to be tightened
as tight as desired. The string pressure of the six strings is heavier
than a five string and the head can be tightened to any desired tension
with ease on the super strong steel rim. Banjos with aluminum or soft wood
pots are not strong enough to handle the tight tension that is crucial for
beautiful banjo tone that every player wants.
LIFETIME WARRANTY
While most imported banjos and guitars in this price range have little or
no warranty, Deering's world class quality features allow Deering to
easily offerer a Lifetime Warranty on the B6 banjo.
